Ryan has been learning the Cox technique in our office and is looking forward to helping with patient care.

‘Having been an athlete pretty much my entire life, health and fitness is something that comes naturally to me. I started playing hockey around the age of 4 and worked my way to the WHL before retiring and realizing there was a life outside of hockey. Following my hockey career I ventured into Kinesiology which has its focus in human movement. During my years playing hockey and training, I always had such a fascination with how the body moved and adapted. I spent 4 years at the University of the Fraser Valley to earn my Bachelors Degree in Kinesiology. My next move was down to Portland Oregon, to become a Doctor of Chiropractic. I am an avid hiker, skier/snowboarder and really, anything outdoors brings me a lot of joy. I like to play hockey, read, be with friends and learn more about the human body day in and day out. My ultimate goal as a caregiver is to provide patients with a very comforting and unique experience that is based on solid communication, trust, support, autonomy and excellent passive care.’ Dr. Kowalski.
