Dr. Dean Greenwood is a board certified Chiropractic Orthopedist with over 40 years of experience serving Vancouver. During his career he has focused on difficult conditions of the spine and uses the Cox Spinal Decompression Technic as his primary form of treatment. Conditions such as herniated disc, spinal stenosis, scoliosis, nerve entrapment and degenerative arthritis are managed utilizing current standards of care. Continuing education, regular literature review and ongoing certification are essential elements of expert care.

Dr. Greenwood also holds a masters degree in Advanced Clinical Practice and incorporates aspects of functional medicine in his practice. Nutrition, lifestyle and exercise are key components of the healing process.

While the spine is the primary focus, other common orthopaedic injuries are managed using manual methods, shockwave therapy and Class 4 laser.

Dr. Greenwood has published case reports which have been cited by other authors. He has lectured with Dr. James Cox and has participated in multi clinic research studies on post surgical spine care. He currently sits on the executive board of the College of Chiropractic Orthopedists and is the Canadian representative to the International Academy of Neuromuscular Medicine.
